The image we project is overwhelming based on appearance. Advertising executives and Marketing experts will tell you the importance of making that first impression. Sentinel’s Uniform appearance standards were established with this harsh fact. Perception is Reality.
Uniformed security is about providing deterrence. Certainly, officers must observe and report, but this alone does not protect a customer from the criminal. They must defer the criminal from acting. A key value that we provide our customers is not simply observing their property and reporting violations but by generating an image of professionalism and superior capacity. This begins with uniform appearance.
Being effective means being able to deter the criminal act from occurring in the first place. Most people have little or no contact with a Security officer. They form any impressions on the capabilities of that officer from observances made generally at a distance. If there is interaction, it is limited to general pleasantries. The image projected by the officer will therefore be based more on how he or she looks than on their intelligence, training, capability or other measurable factors.
Uniforms are provided in three basic styles;

- Even Security Uniform
