Benchmarking your security program is fundamental to strategic program growth and improvement. The first step in this process is a site survey to document the configuration, condition and performance of your systems and supporting policies and procedures. Our experience in this type of analysis, along with our expertise in both physical and electronic security systems, allows us to cost effectively provide thorough documentation of existing capabilities, current shortcomings and future needs.
Many of our projects involve this type of evaluation and documentation of existing security systems and other security measures. The surveys typically identify the site specific critical assets and features of the facility, threats, vulnerabilities, physical and electronic security measures, protective measures, operational procedures and response forces. The surveys and audits typically review access control systems, exterior lighting and perimeter fencing, along with interior and exterior closed circuit television (CCTV) for all critical facilities and assets. Our site survey reports identify and document specific deficiencies in the organizational security posture, and recommend upgrades to address each challenge. Recommendations are then made to ensure a fully integrated and functional physical and electronic strategy. In addition to documenting identified deficiencies and providing recommendations for correction, Sentinel Security typically develops budgetary cost estimates to allow our clients the ability to budget for upcoming expenditures.
